Erika Nalow is passionate about music of all genres and desires to spread joy to others through the uplifting power of music. As a songwriter, guitarist, saxophonist, and vocalist, Erika Nalow has performed in a variety of contexts around the Northern Ohio area, from a vocal group at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum to a classical guitar trio at the Mid-America Classical Guitar Ensemble Festival.
Erika earned dual degrees in Jazz Studies and Guitar Performance at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. She is currently furthering her education at Middle Tennessee State University, where she is a graduate student in the Recording Arts program. Ms. Nalow has served as a guitar instructor at both the Studio Connection and Black Swamp Fine Arts School in Bowling Green, Ohio. She has also served as an intern at Sound Stage Studios in Nashville.
Erika firmly believes that the power of music can impact a person’s life and hopes that her music speaks to all who hear it. By writing openly and honestly in all of her songs, she aims to share her heart with others and therefore connect with her audiences on a deeper level.
