Bio

Erika Nalow is a producer, engineer, musician and songwriter. Originally from Cleveland, OH,  she has always harbored a passion for music. Erika attended Bowling Green State University, majoring in music performance (guitar and saxophone), and found her way to Nashville via Middle Tennessee State University, where she earned a Master’s degree in Recording Arts and Technologies. She is also a member of the Recording Academy.

Erika’s time in Nashville has been spent cultivating a multitude of creative projects. Her engineering and mix work is regularly featured on NPR Music and World Cafe, including sets from artists like Grace Potter, Margo Price, Watchhouse, and The Secret Sisters. Her studio work involves producing, mixing, and performing and is highlighted in the work of local artists like Linda Dunnavant, Mollie Johnson, and David Bavas.

In April 2024, she began showcasing her songwriting, releasing her first single called With You. It is a sweet little folk song, meant to be shared with your best friend, your love- anyone who feels like your other half. Since its release, With You has been featured on several public radio stations (WMOT, WJCU, WBGU), and has been placed on international playlists curated by Warm Hub, UN Indie Folk Music and Kiraz Müzik.

Erika is also an active sideman, performing with artists such as Alayna Renae, Emily Verschoor-Kirss, and Madeline Rae. In her spare time, she can be found pulling things out of her dog’s mouth that definitely shouldn’t be there, working in her garden, or creating something out of nothing.
